Mentoring Program


AHRMA launched its Mentoring program in March of 2015: It’s called “Just-In-Time Mentoring” and it has changed the face of mentoring.  This program provides Mentors with the opportunity to give back and share their expertise with the next generation of HR leaders. 


Benefits of the Program:

Mentors will gain experience in coaching and professional development. This is a great opportunity to develop new leaders. Mentees have the opportunity to learn from senior HR professionals to enhance their professional skillset.

This is a FREE program for all current AHRMA members!

Just-in-Time-Mentoring is unique because it is customized to the needs of the individuals. The parameters of the mentoring partnership are established by the mentor/mentee team - each team decides how often the would like to meet and what their time will be focused on. Some meetings are by phone and some are by face-to-face.

Program Details:

The program is separated into 2 phases per year, Fall and Spring, and each phase lasts 4 months. The topics discussed will motive, educate, navigate, and transfer experience - all for the purpose of getting results!

Just-In-Time-Mentoring IS: the chance to partner with other HR professionals, focused around growing and developing specific HR related skills.

This program is NOT: a free consultant service, a job search service, or an ongoing dependent relationship.

Program Requirement:

In order to participate in the program, you must:

  • Be a current AHRMA member and maintain membership for the duration of the Phase;
  • Plan to remain actively involved in a Human Resources capacity for the entire duration of the Phase;
  • Commit to at least 4 meetings/calls with your partner.
